:new: Raiding Update - 12/7/2014 :new:

Raiding has had a revamp! It is now MUCH easier to raid- all's it takes is a simple comment, once a week! Because it now takes less effort, the prizes and the frequency at which you can raid have been reduced.  See the update here:  RaidingAfter the Plague, one of the most profitable "trades" became raiding the ruins of civilization to recover goods and building materials. Raiding is something that people take up as a full time profession or just a hobby. Anyone can raid as long as they physically able. In Luvecheirosa, raiding is one of several activities you can do to unlock features and  earn solidi and items.
How to Raid
Raiding is extremely simple. Here's a quick run down:
1. Below, you will find several Raiding Locations. They are broken up into levels of difficulty. You may choose to raid in any one of them, but if your character is underleveled for the location, they have a lower chance of finding goods and a higher chance of getting injured.
2. When you've chosen a location, reply to THIS COMMENT with the information it asks for. It should only take you a couple minutes at the most.

Winter Solstice - 12/2/2014
The Harvest Festival event is now closed, making way for the Winter Solstice! See the front page for event information. Don't forget that participating in the Winter Solstice will earn you an achievement!

Also, just a reminder that we now have a skype group. Give Umbrafen your skype name for an invite! So far it's been a success :D

Profession System Updates - 10/24/2014

Some small updates have been made! New achievements have been added for the coliseum, holiday event participation, and for the upcoming collections feature. Also, the profession system has been edited so that there are more art options and it is now easier to earn points. The word count for points has been drastically reduced. Hopefully this will encourage more art.

I'd also like to throw this out there- if you have any concerns or critiques about any of the group features, please do not be afraid to speak up! You won't hurt our feelings. This is the first time I (Umbrafen) and Knichtus have run a group like this, so we want to hear your thoughts! Of course, some things are intentionally a bit difficult to obtain since we want some degree of challenge to the game, but if something seems RIDICULOUSLY hard we want to know! Suggestions for new features and such are also welcome.

And lastly, don't forget about the forum: luvecheirosa.proboards.com/

It's waiting for some RP to go down!

Both of these make mention of the collections feature, which should be coming up soon as I finish the art. If anyone does art for the coliseum and raiding before I finish collections, I'll roll every piece of relevant art for a chance at an item once the collections are available. All of these activities are optional, but I hope you guys enjoy them :D

Also, art in the shop has been updated and new items have been added for the coliseum. More will come shortly. I'm also going to be adding new achievements for the coliseum and raiding, so stay tuned!

Currency
Luvecheirosa uses a currency called the solidus (S), plural solidi. Each character has their own account in which solidi earned by them is placed. Solidi can be used to purchase items from the Black Forest Exchange, or donated to your faction's vault to help the war effort.
:star: In order to promote activity, solidi cannot be exchanged between characters. A character can only buy items, abilities, etc. with what they have in their personal account.
Earning Solidi
There are many ways to earn solidi! However, keep in mind that any one character can only earn a maximum of 40 solidi per month. This is to help prevent one faction from growing too powerful due to unusually active members. A

:bulletblue: Quests and a Bounty Board have now been introduced to earn items and solidi. You can find them on the group's front page.

Welcome and Welcome Back!

You will notice that the front page has received a makeover and now contains links to important information. After you get done reading this blog entry and getting a feel for the group, I suggest you go over the "Getting Started" document linked on the front page for a breakdown on how to get involved with vukar and with the group.
Returning Members
If you owned a vukar prior to the revamp, we will be glad to have you back! Since so much has changed and so much new information has been added, it will take a little work on your part to get going with the group again. You've probably noticed by now that all character references and some art has b

I have a suggestion for a profession that you can add. I think it would be cool to have some sort of trading profession, or some sort of traveling merchant or caravan. I looked and I didn't see anything exactly like it
